Spring is in the air and there is no better way to celebrate it than to get yourself to the TELUS World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Canada's ultimate ski resort, Whistler. The resort has won awards for Best Resort Town Nightlife and from the 17th to the 26th April, gets to put its hedonistic reputation into practice even more than normal, with ten days of live music and the parties from the likes of Ozymatli, Buck 65 and Tokyo Police Club. There are even more reasons to 'party in April, sleep in May' as the festivals motto urges, including arts events, the Park 'n' Fly Skate Jam, the Grenade Games and of course the ubiquitous skiing and snowboard extravaganzas, mutating in so many different forms.
