The 13th of December 2008 was a day to remember for 16yr old Brit Jamie Woods, who took advantage of the early snowfall at Verbier Swatch Snowpark by effortlessly nailing the men's category at the year's second Verbier Ride event with more than a dash of finesse. The female category was won by Eveline Bhend of Switzerland. The day was crammed with jaw-dropping tricks and gravity defying flips from a huge array of worldwide talent and was sponsored by Snow&Rock. 2009 celebrates Verbier Ride's 9th year and we certainly believe that they are the one to watch for next season's freestyle skiing calendar.
