Following the tragic death of Natasha Richardson at Mont Tremblant last week, concerns have been rasied at the French-Canadian resort's lack of air ambulance service to facilitate emergency lifts off the mountain. It took one hour for Richardson to reach the hospital in Sainte Agathe, but the journey would have been quartered if she could have been air lifted. It is unclear whether Richardson's condition would have been improved had she reached the hospital faster, but Tremblant's Safety Team know that this would definitely be true of some injuries, so they are looking into investing in aerial support for next season.
