It was a double whammy gold for America yet again in Aspen's Winter X games after both Lindsey Jacobellis and Nate Holland netted the top spot, each of them now fourth time conquerors in the snowboardcross. It wasn't all plain sailing for Holland, who was understandably 'totally stoked, totally exhilarated and so proud to have pulled it off again,' but nearly didn't, after being caught in a tangle in the semis that could have sent him crashing out of the running. Jacobellis admitted that 'the world cup circuit is very important to me, but the X games is always the icing on the cake.' The rest of the world can only wish that they'd budge up on that podium and let someone else have a slice.
