Alyeska Ski resort in Anchorage, Alaska is obviously not the place to sustain an injury. Ben Habecker, an assistant patrol director at Alyeska Ski Resort, south of Anchorage, claims that it took 13 highly trained ski patrollers to rescue visiting skier, Matt Davis, who had fractured his leg on a challenging run. After 13 people were roped in to rescue Davis, Alyeska demanded that the 19 year old, of Eagle River, paid the resort $845 to compensate. Davis has been banned from skiing the region for a year. Wiski is not sure what hurts more, the leg, the ban or the gargantuan bill! All round ouch!
