Wednesday, 25th March, 2009

Yes, you heard right, we?ve had snow tubing, snowblading and snow biking; now its time for snow kajaking! And this is not a new phenomenon by any means, the Red Bull Snowkajak Race is returning to the Austrian resort of Obertauern for the second year running on Saturday 28th March, following the huge media interest the event sparked in 2008. Riders have to get through the qualifying stages and then the 64 fastest will be put forward to compete in the finals, which launch four riders at a time, in order to stagger the action and up the fun. Participation is free so anyone can have a go, but if it all sounds a bit extreme for you, the after parties are also free, so everyone can get involved!
