The Outdoor Industries Women's Coaltion (OIWC) has recently paid credence to the hard work of Tammy Hetrick and Ali Kenney who recently received the Pioneering Woman Award and the First Ascent Award respectively. Hetrick was nominated for the award by her superior, Donna Carpenter, co-founder of Burton, for helping women advance and progress in their snow sports careers and for generally being an all-round female inspiration. Kenney is a new face on the scene as Assistant Productions Manager at Burton and won the First Ascent Award because she has shown so much promise and has demonstrated a strong potential for leadership. Go the girls!
