British actress Natasha Richardson has died at Lenox Hill hospital, New York, after being airlifted from Toronto hospital following head injuries sustained in a ski accident at Mont Tremblant, Quebec. The accident occurred during a private lesson that Richardson had been taking at the Canadian resort, but no signs of serious injury were initially apparent. An hour later, her condition had deteriorated dramatically, and was deemed to be life threatening, so the actress was rushed to hospital. She died earlier this morning, with husband Liam Neeson, and their two children, Michael, 13, and Daniel 12 at her side.
