Wiski would like to congratulate Britian?s top ranking snowboarder, Zoe Gillings, for her sterling performance at the FIS Snowboard World Cup Finals today in Valmalenco, Italy. Despite a mid-air crash with Switzlerland?s Olivia Nobs, which Gillings reportedly ?felt sore? from, she still managed to bag third place in the snowboardcross final, with only Canada?s Maelle Rickers and Dominique Maltais in front of her. It has been a gruelling season for Gillings, stretching all the way back to Argentina where the season started in September and she is looking forward to some well deserved R&R. There is no wonder that the 23 year old, from the Isle of Man told reporters: ?I?m delighted with the result, it?s a brilliant end to the season. I?m glad I managed to stay on my feet throughout the finals: a podium finish is perfect.?
