There's no wonder Kwame Nkrumah-Achaempong is nicknamed the 'Snow Leopard.' The amount of column space the Ghanaian is getting at the moment certainly warrants an alias, if only to save on printing ink! Achaempong was born in Scotland, but grew up in his native country of Ghana and had never seen snow until six years ago, when he was treated to the delights of Milton Keynes Xscape where he landed a job as a receptionist. The 33 year old decided that it was his life's vocation to be on 2 planks, as he excelled at skiing. Finally he got funding to make his first trip to the Alpes in 2004. Five years later and the African has finally earned a cumulative score of 140 points which means he is now eligible to compete in the slalom and the giant slalom at Vancouver 2010. And Wiski would like to wish the first Ghanaian ever to qualify for the Winter Olympics all the luck in the world!
