This weekend saw the new Winter Olympic courses tried and tested in the FIS Freestyle World Cup in Cypress Mountain, BC. The maple leaf appeared a comfortable all rounder on home turf, scoring an enviable 8 out of 18 podium places in two days. Last week, medals were polished by Aleisha Cline and Chris Del Bosco in Ski Cross and today Jennifer Heil beat her American rival Hannah Kearney, scoring 24.79 to Kearney's 24.18 in the moguls. 'Every race I can feel my feet more underneath me,' said Heil. 'I can really feel the potential of what I've been changing to go faster, to ski smoother and to jump higher.' In the men's comp, fellow Canadian Alexandre Bilodeau took the gold for the men, with Japan's Yugo Tsukita 2nd.
