Veteran skier Thomas Grandi's Olympic bid is now over as he has cut his losses and chosen to pull out of the running, leaving the hard work to his cross country skier wife, Sarah Renner, who he believes 'has a better chance' at medal glory. Grandi had a poor run in his comeback attempt finishing 44th out of 50 this season. The 36 year old has had a good sporting innings however, and is not bitter about his exit, he explained that his priorities have changed, following the birth of his daughter, Aria, 2 years ago. 'I have a greater purpose, and that is to be a Father and husband. My wife will continue her journey to Vancouver 2010 and I will be there to support her and take care of our daughter.'
