With the Burton Nissan X-Trail Asian open having finished on 1st March, it's now time to follow the next stage of the action to the US of A. The 27th annual US Open Snowboarding Championships is without a doubt the event of the season, and one that you don't want to miss! Whether you are a competitor or a spectator, come take part in the longstanding US Open tradition at Stratton Mountain, Vermont, March 16-22, 2009. Not only is the USO the final stop of the Burton Global Open Series, where the top male and female in the series will be awarded $100,000 each, but the USO is also the culminating stop on the men's TTR World Snowboard Tour and the top male will be awarded the TTR world title. At the top of the standings for the men at the moment, we have Chas Guldemond of the USA and for the women its Jamie Anderson also from the USA. Let's see who, if anyone, can knock America off the top spot.
