The GB Snowboarding team is polished, practiced, pumped and ready for action for the Snowboarding World Cup finals which are to be held at Valmalenco in Italy. Representing the UK we have Zoe Gillings, who, after netting the bronze at the Austrian World Cup in Bad Gastein, probably stands as our best chance of a medal. Also for the ladies, we have Britain's double Olympian Snowboarder, Lesley McKenna. The 34 year old will be competing with 23 year old Kate Foster in the Half Pipe Discipline. For the men, we have 20 year old Ben Kilner from Banchory and 24 year old Dom Harrington from the wonderful city of Leeds. Half Pipe Coach for the UK, Leo Addington is understandably beaming with pride at the prospects on offer: 'We have 2 men and 2 women in the top 50 in the World Cup standings... It shows that the athletes have been working hard and progressing and we are becoming a reasonable force in Half Pipe in the international scene.' Wiski wishes team GB all the best for the finals!
