22 year old British super-skier Ed Drake was understandably ecstatic with his performance in the European Cup Super-G at Tarvisio, Italy on Thursday. Drake pushed from starting 27th, all the way to a personal best of 4th place, a mere 0.25 seconds behind the winner, Czech Republic's Petr Zahrobsky. 'This was the best result of my career' beamed Drake, 'it all came together and I was so close to my first European cup win.' Drake's superb performance bodes very well for the ever-advancing Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Wiski hereby bans Drake from alcohol consumption, going anywhere where there is no snow and having a good time.... until Vancouver is over and he comes home with a shiny Gold for Great Britain!
