This weekend marks the big opening of ski areas in the Pyrenees for the 2017-18 ski season.[/b]

Although half-a-dozen ski areas had already opened in the French and Spanish Pyrenees, some opening early including Baqueira Beret and Massella in Spain because of good early November snowfalls in the region, it's this weekend that dozens of areas including the rest of the region's bigger players open.
