California Ski Resort Makes Snow

Running Springs, CA - In what is likely a first for U.S. ski resorts this fall, Southern California' Snow Valley Mountain Resort made snow early this morning for several hours. Although the calendar still indicates that it is summer, temperatures dropped and the resort's automated snowmaking fan guns began making snow shortly after 3 a.m.
