The European and North American seasons may be drawing to a close, but do not despair, if you don't have enough dough to get yourself a one way ticket to the Southern Hemisphere to enjoy their real snow, there could be another way for you to be a year round powder hound and get paid for the privilege! The Snow Centre in Hemel Hempstead is set to open its doors to the public in early May and they are looking for 250 snow fanatics to join their team. The $23million development boasts a 160m main slope and a 100m lesson slope, so whether you feel like being part of their Technical Operations Team, getting involved in managerial work, or working front of house, there may be a way for you to feed your year round snow craving. Although they have already employed 90 part and full time ski and board instructors, Snowsports Director Peter Gillespie says that they are 'still keen to hear from experienced instructors provided they have a minimum qualification of BASI Level 1 or equivalent.' So that's even more snow on our doorsteps... get involved!!
