21 people were injured after falling 26 feet when the cable on a ski lift in a Southern Sierra Nevada ski resort snapped. The lift fell after a faulty cable jerked screws out of one of the lift's pillars at the ski station. Another 35 people were left stranded on the lift as the others were rescued and the problems were rectified. Fortunately, nobody was seriously hurt.
